Independent College Fund of New Jersey - Post-Secondary Student Assistance Fund (Sept 11),  was established to provide college scholarships to children in the Northern New Jersey area who lost family members in the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001.  For more information, contact Mr. John B. The Community Healthcare Network, formerly Community Mental Health Services for Belleville, Bloomfield and Nutley, is located on the grounds of the Essex County Geriatric Center in Belleville. It was developed from the North Essex Child Guidance Clinic. This full service agency provides Therapeutic Summer Day Camp Program, Therapeutic Nursery, and Volunteer Friendly Visitors for home-bound elderly. They also offer consulting and educational services to other community agencies, plus an internship program for graduate students in schools of social work.

SERV Centers of New Jersey, formerly Clifton Mental Health Services, the community mental health clinic for the city of Clifton, provides a variety of out-patient services, crisis intervention, and educational programs for any of the approximately 80,000 residents of Clifton and those who work in the community.
